Following the success of their 2023 album release, Kingdom’s Death, a January tour supporting Cancer Bats as Bat Sabbath, and packed performances at Bloodstock Open Air, Desertfest and Stoomfest, Acid Throne are ready to bring their unique brand of deafening doom to fans old and new. If you haven’t listened to Acid Throne before, expect the atmosphere of black metal, the hooks of stoner rock, the heft of doom and the attack of hardcore all rolled into one heavyweight package.

Tour dates:

  • 24/10/24 – Sidney & Matilda, Sheffield
  • 25/10/24 – The Bunker, Sunderland
  • 26/10/24 – RedRum, Stafford
  • 27/10/24 – Siege of Limerick, Dolan’s, Limerick
  • 28/10/24 – The Bunkhouse, Swansea
  • 29/10/24 – The Gryphon, Bristol
  • 30/10/24 – Blondies, London

A long list of stellar acts will be joining Acid Throne on different nights throughout the tour, including Yersin (Sunderland), Kill the Witch (Stafford), Urzah (Bristol), Molten Slag (London) and more. Visit the band’s Instagram page for further details.

Speaking of the news, drummer Chris Farrar, says, “We’re really excited to be visiting some new cities on this tour – which includes our first date outside of the UK – as well as returning to a few of our favourite haunts. It’s a privilege to play alongside so many other talented bands, and we can’t wait to tackle the mighty Siege of Limerick in between headline shows.”

Gig-goers attending the October tour can expect to hear brand new music from the trio, as well as all the big-hitters from their critically-acclaimed debut album Kingdom’s Death. Described by Kerrang!’s Sam Law as “a striking epic of buzzing atmospherics and scourging vocal work” and with Distorted Sound’s Rich Webb saying the band “have come out of the gates and laid the gauntlet down for everyone else in the genre”, these tour dates are not to be missed.

Acid Throne’s newest single, The Curse, is released on streaming platforms on 11th October 2024.
